These little bastards are my favorite faction in the Dune series. They are characterized by bleached skin, pointy little teeth, and a lack of height. Notice he's got a dart gun stashed away in his sleeve should those stinking Bene Gesserit witches try anything.
I always saw'em like Ugnaughts like in Star Wars (the midgets used in Empire Strikes Back), but with the Islamic mannerisms Herbert gives his characters, I suppose this is more appropriate. It's very elaborate and ornate, but I guess it could pass for the ropes and skull cap of a devout Muslim. Very strong feeling of texture there. It makes me think those robes are softer than velvet.
Ahh, great interpretation. It reminds me of the original Dune covers (the ones that looked somewhat like a fantasy novel with flying saucers), only with your dark touch.
