These little bastards are my favorite faction in the Dune series. They are characterized by bleached skin, pointy little teeth, and a lack of height. Notice he's got a dart gun stashed away in his sleeve should those stinking Bene Gesserit witches try anything.

I think they're cool because they have such incredible knowledge and skill in genetics. According to "Heratics of Dune," they believe machines of all kinds are evil (as does everyone else in the Dune Universe,) but the Tleilaxu were able to replace all their technological needs with genetically-engineered beasts and people. To a degree, I believe some of those tricks would be useful for our own real Universe.

You have the Tleilaxu look nailed dead-on in my opinion!

Just about perfect. The only difference I ever envisioned was that I picture the Tleilaxu having really wiry, oily hair hanging down their shoulders. Otherwise, this is almost exactly what I would see them looking like. Excellent job.

Thanks - it's interesting to see how many different visions people have of the characters and organizations. I like comparing the concept art for the first Dune movie (that was never made) with the Lynch movie for an extreme example. The Lynch version actually came a lot closer to my perception than anything else so far. Except the navigator - the navigator was just, uh, no.
