I created a fighting game in 1996 called Timeslaughter for PC. In 1999, I started a sequel and it never became a reality. I'm starting Timeslaughter II again, and as you can see, the art has improved just slightly. This is Shitman, underlord of the brown tides. Disgusting, yes, but that's the point of Timeslaughter!

Oh my god, it's been years! I remember coming across the site about ten years ago now, loved the artwork and the layout of the site! I found it all again after watching some TimeSlaughter footage on youtube.

Right now I'm officially a Level Designer at Ubisoft, but this stuff is my lifelong hobby that "real" companies wouldn't even acknowledge. I like to think of Bloodlust as kind of the Troma of the gaming industry. I have been designing games since the early nineties, most of them with questionable social value and a significant lack of morals. If you're interested, they're up at [link]

Absolutely - I think you've got concept work on your gallery that's easily as good as concept art I have seen done by "professionals" in the industry. I think the main thing to decide is what you want to do (concept, modelling, texturing, character modelling) and really focus on building a portfolio. I see a lot of people who do a bit of everything have a hard time getting a job because the company is looking for specialization. Once you get into a company, it's easier to move to another position down the line.

Sure, I'll watch for it, although I'm pretty clueless on 3D other than the level design side of it.
